KOZAK: Albert Kozak passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, Manitoba. Albert was born on March 25, 1931 in Dauphin, Manitoba to parents Michael and Helen Kozak. He attended grade school at Dauphin. Albert then resided in Sifton, Dauphin, Roblin, Leaf Rapids and finally Brandon. Over the years Albert was a farmer, worked for the PFRA, was the owner of Roblin Home & Construction, worked for Leaf Rapids Corporation and retired from Manitoba Housing Brandon in 1991. He belonged to Brandon Youth Hockey and the Brandon NDP Association. Albert enjoyed going to auction sales, camping, fishing, woodworking and gardening. He is survived by his spouse Olga, children: Raymond (Rose), their children Clayton and Erin of Brandon, Carla (Eric) Wenger and their children Nikki and Ben of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Noreen (Tony) Davis of Vancouver, B.C., Leon (Randeen) and their children Hilary, Lexi and Mason of Kamloops, B.C. Sisters: Florence (Ed) Kruk of Dauphin, Emily Weselowski of Dauphin and Adaline (Paul) Bazay of Vancouver, B.C. Also surviving are numerous niecesand nephews. Albert was predeceased by his mother Helen in 1969 and father Michael in 1986. The Ceremony to Celebrate Albert's life was held at Central United Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. The Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood officiated. Son Raymond Kozak was urn bearer. All in attendance were to be considered as honorary pallbearers. Donations in memory of Albert may be made to Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, Westman CancerCare Facility, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
