SHANNON: Matthew Thomas Shannon passed away at his home in Melita, Manitoba on October 4, 2009 at the age of 35. Matt is survived by his loving wife Letitia (Taggart) children: Rachael, Clayton and Jhordan; parents Jack and Devona Shannon. In-laws: Denise Mayo and Bill (Sandy) Taggart; grandparents-in-law Stuart and Evelyn Mayo; three brothers Darryl (Wendy), Frank (Shirley) and Chris (Penny); four sisters Arlene Lew, Eunice (Larry) Currie, Wanda (Terry ) Currie, and Sheila (Brian) Boulton; in-laws: Jeffrey (Jolene) Sawatsky; Rebecca (Shane) LaPierre and Brittany (Dan) Burger, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Victoria United Church, Melita, Manitoba. Interment in the Melita Cemetery.
