SHIRTLIFF: Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Thursday October 22, 2009 at the age of 88 years, Edith Pearl Shirtliff (nee Trimble) of Glenboro, Manitoba, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Pearl leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Carol Lynn (Earl) Malyon of Glenboro, Gail Pennycook of Brandon, son Bob Marsh of Winnipeg, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Hazel Trimble of Brandon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Hector Shirtliff (1982), parents Edmund and Edythe Trimble, brothers Mervin and Carl (Edith) and by a sister Helen (Jack) Pinder. A Celebration of Pearls life will be held on Monday October 26, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, with Phyllis Mulligan officiating. Interment will take place at a later time at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Winnipeg.
