SHANKS: Gladys Shanks, beloved wife of the late Jim Shanks and dear mother of Craig (Nancy) and Mark (Coralea), passed away at the Assiniboine Centre on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the age of 71 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 1515-6th Street, on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Sanderson officiating. A private family interment will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Gladys may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, “Palliative Care,” 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
