MYERS: Passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday October 26, 2009 at the age of 73 years, Irving Bryan Squeak Myers, of Belmont, Manitoba. Irving was born May 29, 1936 at Belmont where he received his schooling and had many friends. On October 19, 1957, he married Dorothy May Acorn and together they farmed and operated a dairy as well as drove a school van for a number of years. They sold their farm to their granddaughter Jackie Wilton and husband Jeff to carry on the family operation, and retired into Belmont. Irving was a devoted dad and grandpa. He loved horses and always made sure when he had one it was a good Quarter horse or a real good pony for the grandchildren. Irving is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughters: Terry (Larry) Canada and family of Belmont, Laurie (Tim) De Kezel and family of Belmont, Manitoba, Vickie (Robert) Kerr and family of Bowsman, Manitoba; sister Glenda Tolson of Belmont, brother Elmer (Buddy) Myers of Claresholm, Alberta, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his son Dale, father Cliff and mother Alice, and grandmother Edith Hiscock. Irvings wishes were no services and a family interment at a later date.
