TAYLOR: Ann Taylor (nee Hathaway) 1940 - 2009. On Wednesday October 28, 2009 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Ann Taylor aged 69 years of Morden, Manitoba and formerly of Brandon entered her eternal resting place after losing a courageous battle against cancer. Ann was born in Deloraine and raised on a farm near Hathaway siding. Throughout her life, she lived in Deloraine, Brandon, Vancouver, Winnipeg, The Pas and Morden. Ann spent many years in the service industry working as a waitress and managing a Robin’s donut shop. She also managed an apartment block in Brandon for many years. Ann was always a great supporter of family. To her, having a family get together and meal was the utmost of entertainment. She always tried to be with her family for all the special events. Her last move to Morden was so she could be near her sister and her family. She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Eva and Dennis, Joyce and Dan; two brothers, Don and Maryann, Roy and Myrna; sister-in-law, Maggie and Bill; special nieces, Sheri and Les, Lori; special great niece and nephew, Cambree and Keslen as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith Taylor in 1989; her dad, Thomas McCullough Hathaway in 1986, mom, Evelyn (nee Hamblin) in 2008 and her brother, Bill in 2004. A private family service and interment of ashes will be held at Brandon Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to Boundary Trails Health Centre Cancer Unit or Palliative Care Box 2000 Winkler, Manitoba, R6W 1H8.
