SKOTLAS: Maurice Skotlas of Shoal Lake, MB, formerly of Menzie, MB, passed away at the Morley House Personal Care Home, Shoal Lake on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the age of 79 years. Maurice is survived by his sons: Allan (Shauna) Skotlas of Shoal Lake, Jeff Skotlas of Winnipeg, grandchildren Mitchell and Nolan Skotlas of Shoal Lake, sisters: Margaret Waytowich of Oakburn and Sylvia (Ron) Pryhitko of Winnipeg. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Volodymyr’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Oakburn, with interment following in the Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Menzie. Prayers will be said from the church Friday, November 13, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Fr. Henry Lakusta will officiate. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Manitoba.
