BEAM: Gerald "Gerry" James Beam of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully November 8, 2009 at home with his family. Gerry was born November 14, 1953 in Brandon, Manitoba. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Lizanne, parents Tom and Frances, sons John, Tyler, Jeremy and Robert, his daughters Amanda and Natasha, his grandchildren, and his siblings Rick, Ed, Jim and Georgina and their families. Gerry is predeceased by his mother Mae Vickery. He obtained his post-secondary education at the University of Brandon and was employed as an accountant with South Country Equipment. Gerry held a fourth dan black belt certificate in TKD and instructed the local TKD club at 15 Wing Moose Jaw. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and wood worker. In his younger years Gerry served as an artillery gunner in the 26 Field Reserve regiment in Brandon, Manitoba. Gerry enjoyed spending time with his family, was a dedicated husband and father. A Celebration of Gerry’s Life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Friday November 13, 2009 at 1:30 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. A private memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the ALS society of Saskatchewan, Box 31028, Normanview Mall, Regina, S4R 8R6.
