SOBOL: Phyllis Florence Sobol of Brandon, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Valleyview Care Centre at the age of 92 years. Phyllis is survived by and will be greatly missed by her three daughters Loretta (David) Seymour of Brandon; Sandra (Robert) Jackson of Ancaster, Ontario; and Georgina (John) Myers of Savannah, Georgia; and her two grandchildren Traci Ann and William Seymour of Winnipeg. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband William Sobol and by her parents John and Anne Budinski. The second of twelve children Phyllis spent her entire life in Brandon. As a young woman, she married William and began raising a family. Because of her husband's absences with his career as a locomotive engineer, Phyllis made the choice to stay home and care for her children. Phyllis was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who found great joy in her family. A private service will be held by immediate family members.
