WATT: Melvin D. Watt July 3, 1946 – December 12, 2009. It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Melvin at the age of 63. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosealine Watt; children, Destiny (Felicio), James (Joanna) and Cortney (Eric); granddaughter Izabella; sisters Marlyn (Robbie) and Sherrill (Larry); brother Dallas (Linda), as well as many nephews, nieces and longtime friends. Melvin grew up and farmed in Reston, MB. He recently retired from farming and liked to spend his winters in Apache Junction, Arizona. During the summer months he kept himself busy helping Rosealine with her yard and garden. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Pipestone Community Hall, 124 4th Street, Pipestone, Manitoba. Officiating the service is Chaplain Mike Waddell. Carscadden Funeral Chapel 748-1876. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or CancerCare Manitoba.
