TOOVEY: Harold. It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold Toovey with his family at his side on December 12, 2009 at the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake. Beloved husband of Jean Toovey of Elliot Lake, loving father of Cheryl McClymont (Richard Cadham) of Echo Bay and step-father to Bruce Campbell of Elliot Lake, Deborah Montone (Bruce) of Carp, Jamie Campbell (Lisa) of London and Anna Campbell of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear grandfather of Christopher, Roberta and step grandfather of Sherri, Kristina, Angela, Justin, Jacob and Alexandra. Dear brother of Kenneth Toovey (Olive) of Kenora, the late Donald Toovey and Ronald Toovey. Also survived by two sisters in law, Maureen Preskey of Minot, North Dakota, Joyce Toovey of Minnedosa, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Harold’s life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00 am from Holy Trinity United Church in Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the UCW (United Church Women) Kitchen Renovation Fund would be appreciated by the family.
