MITCHELL: Edwin C. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend on December 15, 2009 with family by his side. Edwin was born on April 7, 1934 to George and Ruby. He was raised in Justice and Brandon along with his sister, Beverly. He received his education in Brandon getting an engineering diploma then working as a mechanic at Wheat City Motors and then the D.N.D. at Shilo until his retirement in 1995. Edwin married Myrna (Finlay) in Lenore in 1955. Together they had three children: Karen, Brian, and Don. Edwin lived for his family enjoying life and spending time with family and friends. Edwin is survived by his wife Myrna (of 54 years), his children: Karen (Doug) Mosiuk, Brian (Tanis) Mitchell, Don (Wendy) Mitchell, and grandchildren: Kaleigh (Brett), Nicole (Tom), Stacy (Scott), Jason, Darren, Jennifer (Dane), Bradley (Aimee), great- grandson Jaxson, and extended family; Pearl Finlay, Budd and Anne Forsyth, Gail Hickson, Bernie and Linda Chrisp, and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family service was held at the Brandon Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Sakasov of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church officiating.
