WHITEHEAD: On Dec. 4, 2009 we lost a wonderful man, Dennis Whitehead. He’s left behind his wife Karen Whitehead, daughter Cora Champion, son-in-law Carlton and grandson Carlton Champion IV. He also left behind his dearest and closest friends which was his adopted family: Maureen Sapsford (Mom), his game partner in crokinole Lloyd Mallard, his sister Debbie B., husband Fred P. and son Quinton B. Their care, love and friendship meant the world to him and us when he was well as when he was sick. It will be always appreciated. Dennis was a truck driver on the highways for 35 years. He made many new friends along the way. In 1998 he joined the company Allen & Bollack, and worked till he got sick. There too he made many friends amongst his colleagues as well as his deliveries. All our family, his friends near and far, that knew him before me will miss him dearly. He will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. I have not only lost a husband but my best friend and love of my life. “Whitehead you will be sorrowfully missed”
