ROBINSON: Victoria Louise Robinson, long time resident of Snow Lake, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years on December 19, 2009 at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Manitoba after a lengthy illness. Louise was predeceased by her beloved husband Clayton in 1992. Loving mother of sons Kelvin (Jano), Lorne (Flo), Perry (Barb), Keith (Arlene) and grandmother to nine grandchildren, Marty, Courtney, Eric, Claire, David, Paul, Valerie, Josh and Beth and four great grandchildren. Louise is also survived by brother Alex and wife Audrey in Vernon, B.C. and sister Eileen Barnes in Brandon, Manitoba. Louise was a life member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and long-term member of the Curling Club in Snow Lake as well as a huge Toronto Blue Jays fan. She was also immensely proud of all of her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon for the fine care given to our Mom during her time there as well as the generous assistance of our wonderful cousin, Helen Scribner and Mom’s long time friend, Judy Davies. Following cremation, a Memorial Service and celebration of life will be held at the at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street in Brandon, on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. Interment at the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium will occur the following day.
