SADLER: Kathleen Sadler passed away January 10, 2010 after a lengthy illness.Kay was born to Hazel and Fred Dobson of Fairfax, Manitoba on July 8, 1948. She married James Carson Sadler on June 19, 1948. They farmed in the Elgin District until October of 1989, when they moved to Souris, Manitoba. Kay and Carson spent many winters in Vancouver and Mesa, Arizona with friends and family. Kay enjoyed life and all her many hobbies, such as painting, crafts, ceramics and music. Kay touched the hearts of a great many people in her lifetime and will sadly be missed by many. Kay had a brother, Lloyd Dobson who passed away in 2008. Kay leaves behind her son, Larry (Gerry) Sadler; granddaughters, Crystal (Chris) Page, Candace (Bryon) Swaenepoel; great granddaughters, McKenna, Kelsey, Raylee Page, great grandson, Jack Swaenepoel. Sincere thank you to Dr. David Cram, the Souris Hospital and PCH staff for all the wonderful care that they provided Mother with. You are truly a special group of people who work constantly to provide a better quality of life for so many people. Thank you to Dexter Kowalchuk of Kowalchuk's Funeral Home and to Reverend Harvey Hurren. Donations in memory of Kay may be made to the Souris Health Centre and the "Let's Make a Splash Pool Fund."
