SMENDZIUK: Helen Rose Smendziuk of Brandon passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the age of 94 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Dominic Yuen as Celebrant. Interment will take place at the Brandon Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, “Stroke Strategy,” 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
