SEABROOK: Leotta Mary. Peacefully Leotta, formerly of Oakville, Manitoba passed away January 30th, 2010 at Dinsdale Personal Care Home, Brandon, Manitoba, where she had been a Resident for over 20 years. Before coming to Dinsdale Home, Leotta had lived in the International Nursing Home in Brandon for 20 years. In spite of her handicap, she spent many enjoyable hours reading, painting and doing needlework. She enjoyed many outings like shopping, dinners out, bus rides and visiting with staff and co Residents. Leotta celebrated her 80th birthday on October 6th, 2009 with a surprise gathering of family and friends. She loved to keep in touch with her nieces and nephews who always had a special place in their hearts for Leotta. She was predeceased by her parents Kirby and Maggie Seabrook, sisters Audrey Hay, Olive Kirton, and nephew Aubrey Hay and is survived by nephews Kirby Hay( Darlene), Elsworth Hay (Gail), Ken Kirton, and niece Helen Pickles (Walter). A memorial service will be held at Dinsdale Personal Care Home, Brandon, Manitoba, Friday, February 5th, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at a later date. The family wishes to express their thanks to each and every staff member and volunteers for their excellent care and friendship over the years.
