TILBURY: In the comforts of her home with her husband at her side, Hester “Patsy” Tilbury (nee Smithson) passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at the age of 66 years. Patsy was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Hester Smithson; Bob’s parents, Jim & Ruby Tilbury; brothers, Clarke and Chris Smithson; brother-in-law, Dick Weins; sisters-in-law Barb Gerlock and Margaret Tilbury. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob; her cherished boys; Brad (Marie), Garry (Deb), Kerry (Coleen, Samantha, Victoria and TJ Emrick), Terry (Norma Jean), Todd (Paula) and Tommy (Brandie Yurkiw) and daughter- in-law, Norma and Rae Tilbury; Patsy’s ten precious grandchildren; Logan, Mardelle and Michael, Courtny, Brady and Carter, Jayden and Brooke, and Steven and Stephanie. Also cherishing memories are her sisters and brothers; George (Joyce) Smithson, Sheila Smithson, Margaret “Toots” Weins, Lucille “Lou” Langevin, Bill (Elaine) Smithson, Ross (Marlene) Smithson, Linda Champion (George Opperman) and Ray (Colleen) Smithson; brothers and sisters-in-law; Bill Tilbury (Vi Carr), Jean (Delmar) Loucks, Joyce (Clarke) Traill, Don Gerlock, Patsy (Cal) Campbell, George Tilbury, Jim (Ruby) Tilbury, Sherry (Earl) Line, Wayne (Diane) Tilbury and many nieces and nephews. Patsy will be missed by all those who knew and love her. A service to celebrate Patsy's life will be held at the Victoria United Church, Melita, Manitoba on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Jeri Bjornson will officiate with interment to follow at the Melita Cemetery. Donations may be given to the Melita Palliative Care Fund Box 459 Melita, Manitoba, R0M 1L0, Melita Cemetery Fund, Box 429 Melita, Manitoba, R0M 1L0 or to the charity of your choice.
