REID: Verna Elizabeth (Clarke) Reid (nee Schofield), formerly of Hamiota and Beulah; beloved wife of the late Les Reid and late George Clarke and mother of Gayle, Marlene, Ed, and Carol; passed away at Hillcrest Place Personal Care Home, Brandon, Manitoba on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 90 years of age. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the Hamiota Pentacostal Church, Hamiota, Manitoba, on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception at Chumah Hall, Hamiota United Church, Hamiota, Manitoba. Interment will take place at the Foxwarren Cemetery, Foxwarren, Manitoba at approximately 4:30 p.m. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Verna’s memory to the Manhattan Beach Retreat Centre, Box 62, Ninette, Manitoba, R0K 1R0.
