GOWANLOCK: Passed away at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Saturday February 27, 2010 at the age of 95 years, Sigrun “Runa” Gowanlock (nee Gudnason) of Glenboro, Manitoba. Runa leaves to mourn her passing her sisters Sylvia Wetten of Coquitlam B.C. and Pauline Goodman of Revelstoke B.C., a sister-in-law Betty Gudnason of Baldur as well as numerous nieces and nephews of the Gowanlock and Gudnason families. Runa was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1988, brothers Dori (Christine) and John Gudnason, sister Ruby Olnick, brothers- in-law Hilmer Wetten, David Goodman and Nick Olnick. A Celebration of Runa’s life will be held at a later date in the Glenboro United Church. Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery.
