LAMB: Ronald Keith Lamb was born at Killarney, MB on January 24, 1942 and passed away February 26, 2010 at Bayside Personal Care Home in Killarney, MB with family at his side. Ron lived most of his life in and around Killarney with the exception of spending a couple of years living and working in Markham, ON. Ron received his education at Tisdale, Oakridge and Fairfield country schools and continued high school in Killarney. Ron loved baseball and hockey and was a very avid hunter and fisherman. He was always very competitive in his sports and could throw a wicked ball. Ron was employed by Killarney Co-op Lumber Yard, Pugh's Construction and Sampson's Construction. Ron was the fifth born to John and Dorothy Lamb. He was predeceased by his parents, his oldest brother Lloyd, his sister-in-law Olga Lamb and brothers- in-law Nick Boychuk and Myron Kostaschuk and by two nieces Carolyn and Lacey. Left to mourn his passing are his four brothers, Gordon (Dawn), Harold, Glenn (Marilyn) of Killarney, MB, Ed (Donna) of Cartwright, MB, and his two sisters Shirley of Regina, SK and Mary of Kelowna, BC and his sister-in-law Shirley Lamb of Ninette, MB. His Aunt, Marion Thompson of Winnipeg and Uncle, Lloyd Lamb of Glace Bay, NS, 20 nieces and nephews, 34 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews survive Ron. Ron also leaves many cousins and friends. Ron resided in Bayside Personal Care Home since the fall of 2005 and still enjoyed getting uptown with his scooter while his health permitted. He knew the good hunting places around Manitoba and also was very knowledgeable on who lived on the farms in and around Killarney. Ron loved the outdoors while his health allowed him to enjoy it. A Memorial Service will be held at Bayside Personal Care Home on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Rest in Peace Ron, you will be sadly missed by all your family
