MENKEMA: Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at the age of 85 years, Johanna Menkema, widow of the late Joost Menkema, of Belmont, Manitoba. Johanna leaves to mourn her passing her four children Joost Menkema (Cheryl) of Spruce Grove Alta., Tina Budd (Daryl) of Belmont, Jannie Hopcraft (Gary) of Wawanesa, Melle Menkema (Wendy) of Brandon, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. A Celebration of Johanna’s life will be held on Saturday April 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, with Helen Delorme officiating. Interment will take place in the Ninette Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Johanna’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st St. Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2W8 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 824-18th Street, Unit 3, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7.
