SMYTH:John Walter Smyth; of Hamiota, MB; beloved husband of Mavis (nee Murdoch); passed away suddenly at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba on Sunday, April 25, 2010 in his 93rd year. A graveside service for friends and family will be held at the Hamiota Cemetery, Hamiota, MB on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception following at Chumah Hall, Hamiota United Church at approximately 2:30 p.m. For those so desiring, donations may be made in John’s memory to the CNIB, 354 10th St, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 4G1 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 824 – 18th St Unit 3, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7.
