WHITE: Janet White of Shoal Lake and formerly of the R.M. of Birtle passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Morley House Personal Care Home of Shoal Lake at the age of 94 years. Janet is survived by her children: William (Joan) White of Airdrie, Alberta and Janet (Larry) Walker of Miniota; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Jack (Marie) Bartram of Birtle, Ted (Elsie) Bartram of Angusville; three sisters: Winnie Gwyer of Birtle, May Patterson of Abbotsford, B.C., Doris Riseley of Shoal Lake and brother- in-law Richard Edmundson of Shoal Lake. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Westminster United Church, Shoal Lake, with Pastor Elwood Fawcett officiating. Interment will follow in the Birtle Cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to a charity of their choice.
