MOSSON: Stanley Ronald "Moose" Mosson passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Ron was born August 25, 1950 and spent his early years in Brandon and Alexander. In his teens, he played bass with the band "We Alone". Later he joined a "Blue Grass" band. As he progressed to his "30's", he preferred to play and listen to music than to dance - much to his wife's dismay. Ron worked for 39 years in the STORES/SPD department at the Brandon General Hospital and latterly the Brandon Regional Health Authority. He was a member of the Brandon Retriever Club and the Brandon Curling Club. Curling was a major interest for Ron, as he made theice, curled and taught junior curling for five years at the Brandon Curling Club. Golfing was another passion and of course, R-Ving with their new camper. The last two summers at Onanole were the best. Ron and Eileen developed a large circle of "seasonal campers" there and seldom missed a weekend "at the lake". Ron is survived by his wife Eileen and sons Josh and Jason, also his mother-in-law Eva Onisimchuk, brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Stan "Bant" and Avonna Mosson. A Ceremony to Celebrate Ron's life was held Wednesday, May 5, at 2:30 p.m. at Central United Church, with Mona Franklin officiating. Urn bearer was Jason Mosson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, CancerCare Facility, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3. Expressions of sympathy may be made atwww.memorieschapel.com. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.Rest in peace "Moss". We'll miss you dearly.
