HALE: Gordon George Hale passed away on May 21, 2010 at the Souris Personal Care Home at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s. Gordon was born in Souris, Manitoba on May 30, 1931. He leaves behind wife, Judith (Janz) of 53 years; children, Ellen Hale (Roy Palmer), Brenda (Duane) Swaenepoel, Kathy Flikweert (John, deceased 2001), Ken (Corrine) Hale; eight grandchildren, Jill (Stu) Boreyko, April (Derick) Marville, Mark (Amy) Swaenepoel, Karla (Scott) Alexander, Jason Flikweert, Lindsay (Dan) Lang, Jordan and Tyson Hale along with two great grandchildren, Rylan Marville and Jesse Boreyko. Gordon also leaves behind siblings, Hilda, Bill, Dorothy, Pearl and Walter. He was predeceased by brothers, Lorrie and Harold.
