STONE: Vernice Marie Stone (nee Bremner) passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. She is survived by her two sons Gary (Karen) of Edmonton, Alberta and Glenn of Red Deer, Alberta. She also is survived by her five grandchildren Trina, Corey (Elita), Travis (Elysia), Alyssa and Caitlynn. Her sisters Lois Philip of Tilston, Manitoba and Fay Hewins of Brandon, Manitoba also survive. Vernice was born in Tilston, Manitoba to Mabel (nee Miller) and Wilfred Bremner. Vernice first moved to Flin Flon, Manitoba, then Calgary, Alberta and after the passing of her husband returned to Brandon, Manitoba. She was an avid quilter. Vernice was predeceased by her husband C. Albert and sister Phyllis. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held in Boissevain Cemetery. A Come and Go Memorial Reception will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North on Friday, June 4, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
