ANDERSON: Gordon Delbert (Andy) of Rivers, passed away at the River’s Personal Care Home on Monday, June 14, 2010 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his loving wife Mildred and daughters: Theresa (Steve) Dalgleish of Calgary, Alberta, Susan (Ivan Brooker) Scarrow of Cochrane, Alberta, and grandsons Brandon and Bradley Scarrow. Also survived by mother-in-law Molly Kiez of Rivers and brother-in-law Terry Mamalyga of Omaha, Nebraska. He was predeceased by his parents John (Susan) Anderson, two brothers, two sisters, and one brother-in-law. After serving 25 years in the Canadian Forces, he settled in Rivers where he has remained for the last 36 years. In retirement he enjoyed gardening and sitting on his deck watching the many birds that he enjoyed feeding. A Celebration of Life will be held at Chris’s Cafe in Rivers on Saturday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
