SINKINSON: Jean Margaret (nee Russell), born in Elva, Manitoba on October 27, 1918 passed away peacefully on June 19, 2010 in Chilliwack, B.C. Predeceased by eldest son Richard and one sister Nellie. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 69+ years, Lionel; children Thomas (Hilma), Ron, Myrna (Randy); grandchildren Cari (Rob), Laurie, Dianne (Shane), Christopher, Tara (Dale), Samantha (Jeff), Jeremy and Lee; nine great-grandchildren; one sister Chrissie; daughter-in-law Paulette as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends in Brandon, MB. where Lionel and Jean spent many wonderful and happy years. Jean was a lover of all things beautiful, specifically her family, flowers and nature. She had a great hand for needlepoint, gardening and knitting which her grandbabiesreceived as gifts and keepsakes. Jean will forever be loved and cherished by her family and friends. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Broadway MB Church in Chilliwack.
