McCONNELL: The death of Wallace Laverne (Verne) McConnell, beloved husband of Jean and dear father of David, Chris and Marla, occurred peacefully in Brandon on Sunday, June 27, 2010. The Funeral Service honoring Verne's life will be held at Memories Chapel on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Mr. Lawrence McInnes will officiate. A private interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Verne to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, #3 - 824 -18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7.
