CONNERTON: Ivy Adeline Connerton February 24, 1922 - June 23, 2010. Ivy passed on to join her beloved husband Cyril at 88 years of age. Ivy was born in Liverpool, England. She served as a W.R.E.N. during World War II, then married Cyril Edward Connerton on November 21, 1944. Ivy and Cyril emigrated from England to Brandon, Manitoba. Ivy worked at JoAnn Shop prior to embarking on a successful career in real estate, first with Sutherland Agencies, then as a broker with Ivy Connerton Real Estate. Cyril and Ivy then retired to Vancouver Island. Ivy and Cy loved to travel but what they loved most was socializing with their wonderful circle of dear friends from Brandon - you know who you are. Ivy always conducted her life with dignity, class and style. Ivy will be missed by her two sons; Dean of Qualicum Beach, B.C., Geoff of Cochrane, Alberta, daughter-in-law Janet Connerton, grand children Scott and Alexandra, James Locke, Violet Connerton, plus nieces and nephews in Canada, US and England. A small family service has already been held in Qualicum Beach, B.C.
