EARL: Mary Kathleen Earl (nee Hagan) November 17, 1930 - June 28, 2010. Passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto with her four daughters at her side. Born in Brandon, Mary was Valedictorian for the 1947 graduating class at St. Michael's Academy. That same year she completed the A.C.T.L. in music. In 1951, Mary graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Brandon General Hospital and joined Transcanada Airlines as a flight attendant until her marriage to Ted Earl. Mary and Ted had six children and Mary was a stay at home mom until the first five were in school. Upon returning to the nursing profession, Mary worked at facilities in Manitoba, British Columbia and Ontario. In 1998 she retired from the Grace Hospital in Toronto. Predeceased by her youngest child, Christopher Jan 2007, her father, Thomas Hagan May 1976 and her mother Queenie January 1998, Mary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her five children, Debbie Earl (Kingston), Tom (Arizona), Jocelyn Vanderzon (Quebec), Allison and Carrie Earl (Toronto), daughter-in-law, Amerjit Chima (Toronto), nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and her sisters, Sheila (Allan) Johnston, (Regina), Eileen (Jim) Jones (Austin TX) and Pat Hagan (Coquitlam). Memorial Service was held in Toronto on July 3, 2010.
