HARDER: Bill Harder, March 5, 1938 to July 17, 2010. It is with great sadness and deep mourning in our hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Bill Harder. Bill passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 17, 2010. Bill was predeceased by his parents Abraham and Eva Harder as well as his brother John and sister Elsie. Bill was born on March 5, 1938 in Plumas, Manitoba. He married his wife Betty Ann on December 14, 1968. They moved to Brandon in 1977 where Bill then worked for Manitoba Hydro for 21 years. He spent his leisure time playing golf, curling, and then taking up billiards after he retired. Bill leaves to mourn his passing his wife Betty Ann, daughter Sharon (Mike) grandsons Adrian and Anthony. His sisters Erna (John), Bertha (Bill), Hilda, Ester (Bill) and Rose. His brothers Ben (Ruth), Gary (Kim), Ron and Fred (Sandy). His brothers-in-law Roy (Elma) and Hank (Paulette). His sisters-in-law Connie, Mary (Don), Jeannie (Cliff), Carol (Ed) and Shirley. As well as many nieces and nephews. Due to Bill’s wishes there will be no funeral service, however, there will be a cremation and private immediate family service at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
