DANDRIDGE: Deborah Ann Dandridge. On May 31, 2010 Deb passed away peacefully at Russell and District Hospital with family at her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Deb was born March 14, 1949 in Crystal City to Lawrence and Clarissa Clarke. The family moved to Oak Lake and then Hartney where Deb received her education. Deb worked in Melita and Deloraine as a telephone operator. In 1970 Deb married Ralph Warwick and had two children, Cliff and Kerri. Deb moved to Birtle in 1976 and worked many different jobs, as waitress in Birtle Pub, the post office, and Home Care. In 1986 Deb married Orville Dandridge and they had two children, Clayton and Clarke. Deb enjoyed camping and fishing and holidays in Alberta with family. Many happy hours were spent playing cards with friends and family where Deb’s competitive nature really came through. Deb was always there to support her family and friends in any of their endeavors. Deb accepted her fate with dignity and courage. She never complained and never gave up. Deb was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Clarissa Clarke, brothers Rick, Fran, and Chris Clarke and an infant niece Jasmine Clarke. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Orville, children Cliff (Susan), Kerri, Clayton (Whitney), Clarke (Denise), her siblings Linda (Barry), Shirley, Cathy (Randy), Jackie (Mark), Wally, and Rob. If friends so desire donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation may be made in Deb’s memory.
