Muriel FLEURY

FLEURY: Muriel Jean Fleury, born November 16, 1945 in Virden, Manitoba, to Gerald and Christine Haskett, passed away at BRHC on August 11, 2010. She was raised on a farm in the Springvale district, where she attended school at Springvale until she went to Virden Collegiate. It was in high school that she met and began dating her husband Leonard Fleury. They married on June 1st, 1963. They had three children, Shiela, Myles and Chad, all reside in Brandon where they have lived for the past 47 years. Muriel’s favorite hobby was her flowers, where she spent hours and hours all summer caring for them. She did home care for elderly people and whoever else wanted her. She cared for family members whenever someone got ill. Her family was most important to her. She is survived by her husband Leonard, daughter Shiela (Gerry), sons Myles (Renee), and Chad (Crystal). Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by one grand daughter Haley. Also surviving are one brother Bill Haskett and sister Fran. Interment at Brandon Cemetery.
