TINGEY: Richard “Dick” passed away at the Melita Health Centre on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the age of 77 years. Dick was predeceased by his parents Robert and Olive (Fletcher) Tingey and brother Charlie Tingey. Dick is survived by his wife Renie of Lyleton, MB; son Bob (Sandy) of Elva, MB, and daughter Alice (Earl) Bugg of Napinka, MB; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 4 brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. As per Dick's wishes cremation will take place and a formal funeral service will not be held. Family and friends are invited to help celebrate Dick's life at a time of fellowship and conversation at the Lyleton Community Hall, Lyleton, MB, on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society 415-1st Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8, or to the charity of your choice.
