REID: Our beautiful daughter Kristen Deanne Reid is now at peace. She was born on January 15, 1979 in Brandon, Manitoba and left us on August 22, 2010. Kristen traveled the world. She was a passionate music lover and writer with many that followed her work. She was an animal lover and a loyal friend who was always willing to take on a cause that she believed in. Kristen was truly happy on the ski hill, at the skateboard park and at her family cottage on Minnedosa Lake. Kristen knew she was loved and we knew she loved us; she just could not find the strength to carry on. We hope she now finds light in all her days. She leaves to mourn her passing her mom and dad, Barb and Darrell Reid, her sister Marlo (Kelly) and precious nieces Kate and Gracie, grandparents Boyd and Amy Grant, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A time to gather to honour Kristen’s life will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at the Reid’s Cabin at Brandosa Beach, Minnedosa, MB. A private family interment will take place in the Minnedosa Cemetery.
