NICOL: James “Jim” Edward Nicol of Brandon (formerly of Oak Lake Beach), beloved life-partner of Elizabeth Komar and dear father of Debbie and Brent, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the age of 74 years. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating. A reception will follow at the Sokol Hall, 33-11th Street North in Brandon. A private family graveside service will take place at the Brandon Cemetery.
