GOUDREAU: Amber Dawn (nee Brugger) went home to be with her Lord suddenly on August 6th, 2010. A brief 27 year journey along life’s road began on July 7 th , 1983, when Amber Dawn first touched and graced the lives of many individuals. Throughout her early years, she enjoyed Sunday school, Pioneer Girls Club, summer church camps, volleyball camps, and vacations to B.C. Amber attended Kirkcaldy Heights Elementary School and later graduated from Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School in Brandon. Following high school, she received her Pharmacy Assistant Certificate while she worked in pharmaceuticals. Amber continued to study and obtain special courses for her most recent position at Brandon Total Eye Care Centre. She thoroughly enjoyed working there with all the staff and serving many special clients. With sparkling eyes and an infectious smile, Amber immediately captivated the hearts of everyone around her. She loved to give rather than receive and unselfishly put others ahead of herself. Compliments directed to her were humbly diverted to others. God blessed Amber with gifts of artistic talents and abilities. Everything she touched with her hands creatively transformed into something beautiful. One of her greatest attributes was her compassion towards family and friends. Opportunities to get together with loved ones, joke around, laugh, and just enjoy each other’s company were deeply cherished. Above all else, her husband and their children were her first priority. This was evident as she lived her life as a dedicated wife and an incredible mommy to their two sons. They meant the world to her. Amber’s extraordinary character, humour, inner and outer beauty, as well as her zeal for life will live on as her legacy. Amber is survived by her loving husband Jason and their two children Dawson and Paxton; parents, Brian and Marni Brugger; brother, Joel (fiancée Michelle); sister, Breanne (son Austin); grandparents, Dennis and Cheryl Brugger. She is also missed by her in-laws, Mickey and Sandra Kreidl and brother-in-law, Richard. Amber D will be deeply missed by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. The Celebration of Amber’s life took place on Thursday, August 12 th , 2010 at Calvary Temple in Brandon, Manitoba with Pastor Dan Pope of McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church officiating. Special music was provided by Cheryl Cramer, Robyn Brugger, and Karrie Smyth. A touching and inspirational tribute was shared by her father, Brian Brugger. Pallbearers included: Joel Brugger, Jordan Brugger, Mitchell Whittington, Cameron Brugger, Braydon Whittington, and Richard Kreidl. Interment took place at the Smoland Cemetery, Minnedosa, Manitoba with Pastor Dan Pearson officiating. Arrangements were in care of Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre in Brandon.
