WOLOSKI: Linda Lou Helen Woloski (Nee Crabbe), November 2, 1949 - September 18, 2010. It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our angel, Linda Lou Helen Woloski at the age of 60. Linda was an amazing wife, mom, grandma, sister, auntie, niece and friend. With her family by her side, Linda passed away peacefully at Minnedosa Hospital, on September 18, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory, are her husband and best friend of 40 years, Orest; three children Lisa (Neil), Shawn (Theressa) and Jay (Jodi); four grandchildren Shelby, Braden, Easton and Jordan. Linda is survived by Uncle Roy (Edith) and siblings Lorraine (Joe), (Shirley), Bob (Ev), Bill (Doreen), (Suzanne), Ken (Marielle), Ray (Brenda), Darwin (Arlene), Don (Lorill), Garry (Cindy). Auntie Lindy will be remembered by 40 nieces and nephews, as well. Linda is predeceased by her parents Phil Crabbe and Jean (Milne), and in laws Mike Woloski and Elizabeth (Sawchuk) and brothers Ed, Tom and Arthur (Gladys) and niece Michelle. Linda was born and raised in Neepawa, Manitoba. She worked as a nurse in Rivers Hospital, Neepawa General Hospital and Eastview Lodge. In 1992, Linda and her husband started Rapid City Memorials where Linda dedicated her efforts to help build the company to what it is today. Linda always looked forward to entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage, watching game shows, watching birds, listening to country music, watching the Blue Bombers, travelling, and attending featured events. Linda especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she truly loved. On September 5th, 1970 Linda married her best friend for life, Orest Woloski. They were inseparable and because of this, they have many cherished memories. The one that will be most cherished is the celebration of their 40th Anniversary shared by the entire family. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Popowich, Dr. Sulaiman, nurses and the entire staff of Minnedosa Hospital for the dedicated and compassionate care extended to Linda. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21st at St. Alphonsus, 142 - 4th Street N.W. in Minnedosa, Manitoba. A celebration of Lindas life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22nd at St. Alphonsus as well. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to Minnedosa Palliative Care Unit, Minnedosa Health Centre Box 960, Minnedosa, Manitoba, R0J 1E0.
