SOMERS: Sharon Lynne nee Creasy (Neale) Somers, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her residence in Carberry on Tuesday September 28, 2010 at the age of 66 years. Sharon will be joyfully remembered by her loving husband Graham, son Dale Neale, daughter Joleen (Doug) Graham, grandchildren Brett and Jenna Graham, Matthew (Jen) Neale, Rheanon (Ryan) Davidson and Jaymie Neale, great grandchildren; Charlie and Jackson Neale; step children Darryl and Nola Somers (children William and Drew), Kent and Anne Somers (children Kate, Malcolm and Noah), Debra and Gerald Parisen (children Rachael and Stephanie); brothers Richard (Connie) and Lionel Bud Creasy, sister Kay (Gordon) Currie, sisters- in-law Ann Creasy, Bernice Creasy and Eileen Creasy, daughter-in-law Twyla Neale, former husband Gerald Neale, also by her God Family Jennifer and Glenn Normore and God child Jacob, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sharon was predeceased by her son Darrell Red Neale, brothers Keith, Wilbert, and Robert Bob, mother Mae (nee Outhwaite) and father Ernest Creasy, brother-in-law Gordon Currie and by a sister-in-law Mae Creasy. Family and friends will remember Sharon as tenacious and optimistic, with a good sense of humor and strength of spirit. She was described as the classiest lady ever known. A Celebration of Sharons life will be held on Saturday October 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro with Phyllis Mulligan officiating. Interment will take place in the Carberry Plains Cemetery. Sharon survived several bouts of cancer. At her request, friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Sharons memory to the Western Manitoba Cancer Care Project, 150 McTavish Avenue, Brandon Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
