PAULSON: Eyvi Paulson 1923-2010 “A Born Farmer” Passed away at his residence in Morden on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at the age of 87 years, Sveinbjorn Eyjolfur “Eyvi” Paulson of Morden, formerly of Glenboro, Manitoba. Eyvi was predeceased by his parents Arni & Gunna Paulson, his siblings Paulie Kjernisted and Trigger Paulson, & by his half siblings Paul Paulson, Ena Olson and Arni Paulson. He leaves to mourn his wife Helen of Morden and four children, Randy, Calvin, Bonnie and Alec, his sisters Freda Paulson of Port Alberni B.C. and Jona Johnson of Courtenay B.C., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eyvi was a caring man who always looked at both sides of an issue. And he loved to sing – in the church choir and in the fields. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Thursday October 7, 2010 at the Skalholt Cemetery, Glenboro, Manitoba. A Reception for family and friends will be held at the Glenboro C.E. Building at 12:00 noon for a time of lunch and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
