THOMPSON: Doreen Thompson passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Dinsdale Personal Care Home October 1, 2010 at the age of 83. Doreen was born April 27, 1927 in Estevan, Saskatchewan. She met and married Charles Thompson when he was stationed with the Air Force in Estevan and moved to his home in Neepawa. She moved to Brandon in 1995 and during the last years resided at Dinsdale Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband of many years, Charles; their son Robert in infancy, son Ken Thompson at the age of 29 years and son Neil at the age of 51 years. She is left to mourn by her children Grace Denis (Robert), Louise Kilborn (Brian), Rick Thompson (Elaine) and John Thompson (Anna-Lynn). Her grandchildren Ken Denis (Debbie), Shelley Doan (Chris), Trevor Denis (Jackie), Christine Kilborn/Pulver, Neil Kilborn, Gary Thompson, Darin Thompson, Brennan Thompson, Evan Thompson, Nolan Thompson and Laurel-Lynne Thompson. Her Great Grandchildren Jenna Denis, Patrick Denis, Keenan Denis, Callie Denis, Joel Pulver and Brent Pulver. The funeral for Doreen was held at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church on October 6, 2010 with Fr. Dominic Yuen officiating. A private burial was held in Neepawa where she was laid to rest with her husband Charles.
