deMONTIGNY: Iris Theresa de Montigny (nee Tuck). On October 13, 3010 with her daughters at her side, Iris de Montigny passed away at her daughter’s home near Lenore. She will be sorely missed by her children, Marcel (Bev), Annette Waller, Aline de Montigny (Brian Johnston), Henry (Caitlyn). Also left to mourn her are her eleven grandchildren as well as her twelve beloved great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her step grandchildren Pat Waller (Bev) and family, Jan Waller and family, and her 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as all of her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Henry, beloved daughter Yvonne Knight, beloved son Eugene, son-in-law Bud Waller and granddaughter Renee. Mom enjoyed her visits from family, friends and neighbours, especially the “chicken” get togethers. Prayers to be held on Friday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. in Virden Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Virden, Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m. in Virden Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Virden, Manitoba. Interment to follow at a later date in Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Anne, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
