MUNRO: Mary Munro (neé Krieger). Following a lengthy illness, Mary died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon. Mary was born on March 9, 1931 on the family farm near Esk, Saskatchewan, the eldest of five children born to Wilhem and Erna Krieger. She was predeceased by husband Jim Munro, her parents, youngest brother Norman, and grandson Adam Munro. She leaves to mourn her brothers Art (Joyce), Oscar (Susan), and George (Irene). Four children Marian (Mike) Dodds, Alan (Barbara Jackson) Keil, Jeffery (Cori-Sue) Munro, and Lori-Ann (Stuart) McKechnie, all of Brandon. Mary is also survived by her grandchildren Chris (Larissa) Dodds, Jamie (Aleasha) Munro, Stefanie Munro and Morgan Munro and great-grandchildren Caitlyn Dodds, Juliana Dodds, Zayden Munro and Tyra Munro as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 114 Ashgrove Blvd. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Zinko officiating. Interment will take place at the Brandon Cemetery. The family gratefully declines flowers.
