McFADYEN: Eunice Eileen, (nee Bilkoski) formerly of Brandon, passed away on Friday, Nov. 19th, 2010 at the Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks, Alberta. Eunice was predeceased by her loving husband Harold, who left us February 10, 1997. Will be sadly missed by her son Richard McFadyen (Merlene), and daughter Margo Charlton (Scott) of Calgary, grandchildren Megan (Jeremy), Dane (Theresa), Jade and Amber, and great grandchildren Madelyn and Lyla. And of course we can’t forget her 4 legged canine grandchild Arrow, who loved her Nana as much as the rest of us. She also leaves to mourn her passing, brother Stanley Dave Bilkoski (Linda) of Cobble Hill, B.C. and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Eunice grew up around the Brookdale, Neepawa area, and although she lived most of her adult life in Brandon, she had recently moved to Calgary to be closer to her immediate family. She had a wonderful 1 1Ž2 years of being with her loved ones, but sadly was diagnosed with cancer in the spring of 2010. Unfortunately the cancer was terminal, but those of us who knew her will take comfort in knowing it didn’t stop her feisty nature to fight to the end. We are all just sad that we weren’t able to convince her to move to Calgary sooner. The family wish to thank the staff and volunteers of the Foothills Country Hospice for their compassionate care and kindness of Mom during her stay. And to all family and friends who have offered their support and heartfelt sympathy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Eunice to this wonderful organization, Foothills Country Hospice Society, P.O., Box 274, Okotoks, Alberta, T1S 1A5 or email www.countryhospice.org Messages of condolence may be sent to jade95@telus.net
