PERO: Richard Wallace Pero, Nov. 27, 1939 – Nov 20, 2010. Richard Wallace Pero of Shilo, Manitoba, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Assiniboine Centre, on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the age of 70 years. Richard is survived by Louise, his beloved wife of 46 years, sons Raymond Pero and Richard Pero and daughter, Amanda Pero. Richard is also survived by his four grandchildren, Jamie-Lynn, Jessica, Justin and Adam, as well as many friends and relatives. Richard retired in 1994 from the military after 33 years of service. He will be deeply missed. A Service of Remembrance was held at St. Barbara’s Chapel, Shilo on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Padre Kevin Olive officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, “Palliative Care Services”, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3 Messages of condolence may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com.
