TETZLAFF: Beverley Frances Jean (nee Sanderson) passed away peacefully at her home in Brandon, with her family by her side, on November 28th, 2010. She was raised and schooled in Brandon and was an employee of the Manitoba Provincial Government for 25 years. Bev was predeceased by her father Maurice (1974), mother Myrtle (1992), infant great grandson Brayden Tetzlaff (2000), brother-in-law James Buckmire (2003), sister Marlene Reilly (2008), and brother-in-law Robert Reilly (2010). She was also predeceased by several aunts, uncles, and her cousin Tammy Bradley (2010). Surviving are her husband Walter, son Theodore (Darlene) and daughter Kimberley Monaghan (Kevin), siblings, brother Edward (Gail), sister Inez Buckmire, and brother Fred (Margaret), Aunt Gertie Bradley (age 102), Aunt Daisy Johnson, (age 106), several cousins, nieces and nephews. Bev's life was blessed with the enjoyment of having eight grandchildren, Helena, Tera, Amy, Melissa, and Trevor, as well as Kassandra, Krysten and Kyle. Bev also had eight great grandchildren. They were all important in her life, but the one great grandchild who could give her a twinkle in her eye and became her "fix" during her struggling time with cancer was her little "Soso" (Sophia). In July of 1963, Bev and Walter were married and enjoyed 47 years of happiness together. Bev was a very caring, loving and thoughtful person who never backed away from the challenges of life, especially those she thought she could overcome. Bev's favorite moments of happiness were spending quality time with her family, especially cooking, visiting and laughing with them. Her enjoyment in life was spending time doing her oil paintings, camping, fishing and curling. She will be sadly missed by all those she touched in her life. The memorial service took place December 1, 2010 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, followed by interment at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Jason Zinko officiating. Urnbearers were her two grandsons, Trevor Tetzlaff and Kyle Monaghan. A Celebration of her life took place at the ANAF Unit #10, Brandon, Manitoba. In memory of Bev, donations may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, "Palliative Care" or "Cancer Services Project", 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the following: the compassionate and dedicated care given by Doctor L. Moller, and Doctor E.
