HALLEN: Marion Hallen passed away on January 2, 2011 at the age of 79 years and a few weeks short of her 61st wedding anniversary. She was born in her childhood home near Franklin, Manitoba on August 30, 1931. She was predeceased by her parents Will and Bertha Baskerville; her sisters Dora, Lena and Evelyn; her brother Howard and infant grandson Graham Praznik. She is survived by her devoted husband Richard, daughter Beverley and husband Richard Dulong; daughter Lorilee and husband Gary Praznik, and grandsons Bryce Heywood and Logan Praznik. Also surviving are her brother George Baskerville, sister Alice Thrush and several special nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law. Cremation has taken place and at her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Interment and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. A more complete obituary will follow. Donations may be made to Neepawa and District Palliative Care Service. Her family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Neepawa Hospital and the Home Care program for the wonderful care she received.
