SOLON: Paul Victor Solon Sr. It is with much sadness the family announces the passing of Paul (Pops) Solon Sr. after a brief illness on January 4, 2011 at the Palliative ward at the Brandon Assiniboine Centre. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 327-4th Street on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 10:30 am. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Dominic Yuen. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends who desire can make donations to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation for Palliative Care, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
